Royal Hotel Pendant

These were designed for the Snack Bar in the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen Arne Jacobsen designed a very simple lamp: four pieces form a cube around the bulb.
One of the cosiest areas in the large hotel was undeniably the Snack Bar, an informal area where you could sample 'Smørgaardsbord', accompanied by a lager and a snaps. Here one could discreetly sit behind decorative wooden screens and plants and eavesdrop on any of the many discussions in foreign tongues.
